Crossing Legs Creates Varicose Veins

A common belief is that crossing your legs creates varicose veins, fortunately, this is not true. However, standing up may cause veins. Varicose veins typically appear in people who are genetically predisposed to them, also people who have lifestyles which require a lot of standing, may also get varicose veins. This is because standing means that the vascular network has to work much harder to pump blood around your legs. If something isn’t functioning properly, this may lead to a pooling of blood and the appearance of veins.

Drinking Water Keeps Your Skin From Drying Out

Unfortunately, even if you drink 8 glasses a day, water will not stop your skin from drying out. Skin is kept moist thanks to oil, so simply put, if you want to keep skin moist, use moisturizer. Water does however help your skin looking healthy and keep your organs functioning properly, so don’t skip!

Applying Cocoa Butter Or Olive Oil Will Stop Stretch Marks

The dreaded stretch mark is a result of when the skin has been stretched thanks to weight gain or body growth. Unfortunately stretch marks are formed below the top layer of skin, where cocoa butter and olive oil can’t get to. However, they can act as good anti-itch ointments.

If you tan to the point where your skin dries out, your body will automatically produce oil to remedy the situation, this oil can clog pores and create pimples.So do it in moderation. Also, some toothpastes contain menthol which will dry out your skin, so avoid!

You Can Get Rid Of Cellulite

Oh how we wish this were true! Unfortunately, there is nothing than can be done to permanently eliminate cellulite. Cellulite is created from fatty deposits that are trapped between fibroid bands, connected to skin tissue. The fibroid bands squeeze the fat under the skin, which results in the lumpy texture, which we know as cellulite. While completely getting rid of it impossible, you can reduce its appearance. Just moisturizing and keeping the area hydrated will reduce cellulites appearance, and firming creams with caffeine and can also tighten the skin. Worse comes to worse, fake tans work wonders as well!

You Can Shrink Pores

Just like you can change the size of your feet, you can’t change the size of your pores. While you can make them look smaller, actually making them smaller is impossible. A cheap and effective solution is applying egg whites to your skin. Egg whites tighten the skin and give the illusion that your pores are smaller!
