Annah Mac is a singer-songwriter from Tokanui, New Zealand.
Born and raised on a sheep farm, she began playing and
writing music at the age of six.
During her school days, she won three Gore Golden Guitar
Awards and was, later on, awarded the Smokefree Rockquest Female Musician Award
as well as the Play It Strange song writing competition.
After moving to Auckland at
the age of 17 to pursue her career as a musician, she has been mentored by some
of New Zealand’s
top producers and has opened for Kelly Clarkson and The Script.
Her debut album ‘Little Strangers’ was released in September
2011 and peaked at #32 on the RIANZ Albums chart, and at #7 on the RIANZ New
Zealand Artists Album chart.
Annah is also nominated for several categories like Single
of the Year and Breakthrough Artist at the New Zealand Music Awards 2012.
The clip to her new feel good single ‘Bucket’ has just been
released and is New Zealand’s
first 4K music video.
