We just learned that women in the UK rated their men only 69 percent perfect and that the most common complaint about men was untidy facial hair!

The poll suggests that women prefer groomed, tidy stubble on their men. And even though stubbles might be in fashion, with Bradley Cooper recently winning the Sexiest Man award, I’m just not a big fan of it!

Luckily my boyfriend does not have a beard all the time, but sometimes he gets a bit lazy with shaving. I actually don’t mind that much how it looks, I just really don’t like the way it feels when we kiss. So I really want him to shave.

Depending on how long you have been going out for with your boyfriend, you might just tell him openly that you don’t like his beard. This is a bit trickier when you have just started seeing each other.

So how do you tell him without offending him or hurting his feelings? Here are some tips on how to get your boyfriend to shave:

1. Compliment him on how handsome he looks when he is cleaned-shaved.

2. Tell him how much you love kissing him.

3. Tell him that his beard scratches your face when the two of you kiss.

3. Invite him to go to an official event that might reasonably require him to lose the facial hair.

4. Get him luxurious shaving products for Christmas or for his birthday.

5. Giive him a voucher for the barber shop.

6. Ask him if there is something about you that he might not like that much, which might make it easier for you to tell him what you would like him to change.

What do you think, beard or no beard? Have you ever told your boyfriend to shave?
