Do you want to Quit Smoking??

Smoking tobacco? Kai Paipa?
Keen to give quitting another go? Would you like to have lots of support? How about getting the whole province behind you?

Consider being a Smokefree Champion for Marlborough in the lead up to World Smokefree Day this year with the support of Marlborough behind you and 15minutes of fame into the bargain.

Marlborough Smokefree Coalition will support 6 individuals from different backgrounds who would be willing to share their experience of quitting smoking (hopefully successfully) in order to encourage others to do the same.

You will receive fitness and wellness checks, assessment of quitting needs, and free resources to help you quit along the way, all coordinated by qualified health professionals and quit coaches. You have three months to quit and we will even put on a celebratory picnic for you to celebrate your achievements, where we’ll give out great incentives for the participants who do well along with loads of encouragement to keep up the good work.

Quitting can be difficult, but if you feel comfortable sharing your quitting journey with others as a Smokefree Champion we’d love to hear from you! For further details contact Corinne on 03 579 4379 or Amaroa on 0800 499 430
