Shave 2010 is just around the corner and the buzz is being created already!
They need a song for the Shave for a Cure TV ad. Last year they used an Evermore song. This year Shave for a Cure are running this awesome competition where a NZ primary or secondary school student could have their song used in the TV ad.

The Phobic Trust of New Zealand urgently requires people to volunteer on our 24 hour, national phoneline. The phoneline offers support and information on anxiety, phobic and obsessive compulsive disorders to sufferers and their families.
APPLICANTS REQUIRE:
· A keen interest in anxiety disorders
· High ethical standards
· Good communication skills
· Compassion and empathy
· Reliability
· No formal qualifications required
All successful applicants will undergo comprehensive training before starting on the phoneline and attend monthly meetings, which include structured debriefing, supervision, peer review and specialised training.

Held every Saturday morning from 8.00am until 1.00pm at the Helensville A & P Show-grounds on Highway 16. Indoor and outdoor trading sites are available. Stalls at the market include fresh seafood, vintage clothing, second hand tools, classic music on vinyl, home baked bread, natural remedies, local artists, native & exotic plants as well as crafts and produce. The Helensville Market is evolving a family atmosphere for people to meet up, have a bite to eat, for example Mussel fritters and Venison Burgers are just a couple of unique feeds available.
