Well I don't think its a suprise that I am a crazy cat lady. So you can imagine how interested I was in the story this morning about the crew at the Waikato SPCA wanting a "cat curfew" on all felines to prevent mating.
Do cats only mate at night time? How the hell are we supposed to keep tabs on our cats when we're unconscious?

Last night I went and saw a family member at Waikato Hospital.
I parked the car, Got the instructions and went off on a mini-adventure to find him in hospital.
After losing my bearings about 8 times I finally found him.
If you think I made finding the room hard...You just wait! I then decided at around 7.30 it was time to leave...Do you think I could find my car? NO.
I had somehow found myself in the WRONG car park building !

There's a new baking craze I've been reading about. I'm not going to lie...I LOVE BAKING.
They are called "Whoopies" and are supposed to be the next big-baking-thing!
Here's a blurp of what I was reading this morning about them...

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog, I try and update this daily..So welcome!
Last night at Pak'n'Save I noticed the lady in front of me had bought a few bottles of wine. (Yes I usually check out everyones groceries).
When she got to the checout operator she was asked for ID. Now here goes the interesting part of the story...She replied with a very stern..
"How dare you ask me for ID, Im over 40 and you need proof that I'm over 18!!?"
I felt for the poor girl on the check out ... But If I was over fourty and still getting asked for ID I'd be stoaked!!
What do you think? If you're asked for ID and your cleary old enough, Should that be an insult or a compliment?

- Match eyeshadow to your eye colour and only use matte shades, because matte eyeshadow will erase wrinkles
- Blend eyeshadow - use an eyeshadow brush and really work the colours together
- Get eyelash extensions
- Keep lips and cheeks natural and rosy; think of a youthful teenage girl. A rose-coloured lipstick is essential
- Have a couple of different shades of foundation, one for each season as your skin tone will change, and that beautifully covers pigmentation and veins
- Get eyeshadow colour right
- Shape eyebrows correctly
- Remove all stray hairs around the mouth
DON'TS
- Don't over-arch or over-pluck your eyebrows
- Don't use really strong lipstick colour, especially if your lips are drooping on the sides
- Don't overdo the powder because it can make skin look flat and dead. In fact, Morris recommends not using powder at all and says liquids are much more flexible on the skin
- Don't smile when applying blush because your cheeks lift. When you stop smiling your blush will be closer to your jaw
- Bin all bright frosty eyeshadows
- Don't use pinky-beige foundation colours because they are ageing
- Don't test foundation on the back of your hand
- Don't use heavy eyeliner under your eyes if your eyes are beginning to droop - it will accentuate the droopiness. And don't use eyeliner only a third away across - go either all the way across or not at all.
- No heavy lipliner with a different colour lipstick

They are so heart warming, These kids are my absolute heros.
Don't forget about the Beads of Courage fundraiser on this Sunday, Hamilton Lake (in front of the Verandah) from 10a-4pm.
Bouncy obstacle courses, Castles, Live local music, giveaways, firetrucks it's the full sha-bang!
I see The Waiakto DHB have done a U-Turn on their brand new parking system that cost almost $340,000. Apparently the "cash only" idea for parking wasn't a wise one beacuse so many people had to line up and pay.

Well Yesterday was a busy day and into it again today!
8 is my favourite number today so I have 8 tickets to the Investec Super 15 game with our Chiefs taking on the Blues this Friday night at Waikato Stadium.
I'm also taking "calls of interest" about anyone wanting to come along this Friday to Waterworld and try out fot TEAM NZ Bellyflop. We will pay for your flights, Accomodation and Food in Brisbane Australia if you make the team! and At least one person from the Waikato will!
Also this morning apparently Poor olf hugh hef has been in an Awkward situation with his Ex Crystal Harris when they both turned up to the same party
