25,000 athletes from around the world are expected to compete at World Masters Games 2017, which makes it the largest multi-sport event in the world – even bigger than the Summer Olympics.

The Games are open to athletes of all abilities, from recreational through to elite, with no qualification required and minimum ages ranging from 25 years upwards.

There’s 28 sports on the programme, including football, rugby, touch, netball, golf, tennis, swimming and cycling. With Opening and Closing ceremonies, a Games hub and nightly entertainment after the sun goes down, this 10-day festival of sport is the opportunity of a lifetime.
