This is not egg-actly what you have in mind when you think about having eggs and coffee for breakfast.

A cafe in Melbourne has jumped on the bizarre coffee-cup bandwagon by pouring coffee into egg shells, in what they call the 'free range latte'.

The Hardware Societe in Melbourne's city centre even managed to put some fancy coffee art into this small empty egg shell.

However, the coffee was just an experiment, and won't actually be served on the menu.

'It was a cold Melbourne morning, and we were just looking for something to do,' he said to Daily Mail.

But if you're looking at other alternative ways to drink your coffee, take a look at the avolatte or the Auckland pieffee.
