One frustrated wife's Facebook post about her husband had the wrong intended reaction, after a number of single woman came forward, offering to take him off her hands.

The woman, Teresa Turner, posted on a buy-sell Facebook group tha tshe was wanting to sell her husband Rob, who she described as "annoying but house-trained."

“I have a 33-year-old husband that is no longer needed due to getting on my nerves! I don’t want no money, he is FREE, he is house-trained and toiled trained, first to collect."

Within hours of posting, more than 300 women had left a comment in interest to "purchase" him.

Her husband Rob even replied to it, saying: "Brilliant, do I get my tea cooked too?"

She says she decided to flog off her husband of four years after he repeatedly played her an "annoying and aggravating" video of people eating loudly, which triggered her misophonia (a condition where you hate specific sounds.)

"I just found this video of a person crunching really loudly, and she told me to stop playing it," Rob told Daily Mail.

"I just played it to her over and over again, so she went upstairs and then I just saw this notification on Facebook saying I was for sale or something."

But one week after the post was written, he confessed that "No one's come to the house to collect me."

His wife added: "My husband thought it was funny and still does. He's got a great sense of humour, thankfully."
