Up until now, chocolate had been limited to 3 main categories, white, dark and milk. But now chocolatiers have come up with a brand new 4th flavour... Pink chocolate!
This stuff isn't just regular chocolate with some added colouring, it all comes down to how it's made. Pink chocolate uses a different kind of cocoa bean and is processed in a different way giving it its unique colour and fruity flavour.
"It’s natural, it’s colorful, there’s an indulgence aspect to it, but it keeps the authenticity of chocolate," the CEO of the company said. "It has a nice balance that speaks a lot to millennials."
"We had very good response in the key countries where we tested, but we’ve also had very good response in China, which for chocolate is quite unusual." he added.
The Pink chocolate is expected to hit shelves across the world a little later on this year!
