You’re always warned that ‘you are what you eat’. But what happens when you’re named after what your parents ate?
That’s what’s happened to one baby girl, who has been named after a restaurant her parents loved so much.
New parents, Justin and Jordan Garton, are such superfans of the American chain restaurant ‘Olive Garden’, that they once ate there everyday for seven weeks straight after purchasing a “never-ending pasta pass”.
So with all the time they spent there, it seems only fitting that the Italian-American family came up with the perfect tribute to the restaurant.
“We spent the first part of our lives loving @olivegarden , now we get to spend the rest of our lives loving Olivia Garton,” 28-yearold dad Justin tweeted.
"I'm only the third generation on my dad's side to be born in America," Jordan Garton, 26, told ABC News . "I just love Italian food and growing up in Arkansas that's pretty much one of the only Italian places that we ever got to go."
You have to admit, while the name is pretty common, it’s a very clever way to use your daughter as a walking dedication to your favourite pasta place. Here’s hoping she loves pasta as much as her parents do!
