A suspected 64,000 Kiwis may have had their information misused as part of the Cambridge Analytica scandal. And you can find out if you're one of them.

There are two ways you can find out whether or not your data has been shared without your knowledge:

  1. Through an alert that Facebook will send out to you directly
  2. Or checking yourself through Facebook's online Help Center. Simply visit this support page and log into your account. Look at the box that simply says 'Was My Information Shared?' and it will tell you whether or not you or any of your friends used the quiz app "This Is Your Digital Live' which scraped yours and your friend's personal data, which then got passed onto Cambridge Analytica.
