The fight is over before it even began!
Former season 2 'Bachelor New Zealand' bachelorette Naz Khanjani is no longer competing in the boxing match she was scheduled to have tomorrow night in Christchurch.
Naz was meant to have faced off against Mai FM breakfast show host Lily Taurau as the undercard match of Joseph Parker's heavyweight bout with Solomon Haumono.
However, after Naz mentioned to TV3's Story last night about the state of her health, the event management team confirmed the controversial bachelorette was no longer taking part.
A spokesperson from Duco Events said at a press conference this afternoon that while Naz wanted to remain in the fight, the company decided to pull her due to the doctor's and company's concern over her health.
Naz herself was not at the press conference, and was said to still be staying in hospital overnight.
Her competitor Lily was said to be upset by the news, but is still interested in fighting against someone for a boxing match.
