Dan Carter makes heartfelt goodbye to Lancaster Park

Dan Carter has visited Lancaster Park one final time since the 2011 earthquake which struck our city.

In an emotional instagram post he said goodbye to the stadium which he played for Cantebury, the Crusaders and the All Blacks from 2002 to 2011 until the earthquake hit Canterbury making the stadium unsafe for continue use.

This is the first time the 112 test player has been inside the stadium which is being demolished piece by piece. Carter takes a tour around the stadium going inside to changing rooms which he use to sit and prepare for the game ahead, along with a walk down the famous Lancaster Park tunnel where he and his team used to run out for every home game.
