Nelson Railway at Founders Park will have the Railcar running on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th August, between 11am and 4pm, with the weather permitting.
Adults rides are $6 and children rides are $4 with kids under 3 years being free.
Come and join them at the station this weekend!
Pont Party for Horses
Due to rain last Saturday the Pony Party for horses at Richmond RDA has been postponed to this Saturday the 17th August from 11am to 2pm.
Come on down and enjoy pony rides, lots of activities and games with horse demonstrations in the arena.
Coffee and cakes and BBQ hamburgers and sausages for lunch.
Also raffles and a silent auction.
A great fun day!

The event will be fundraising for a Scholarship Initiative to send boys to the Spirit New Zealand.
Daylight Savings Ride
The Daylight Savings Ride is being held on the 28th of September.
Entry is $20 with all proceeds going to the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter.
Bikers are to assemble at 10am at the Nelson Airport.
There’ll be lucky number prizes up for grabs on the day.

Kaikoura Adventure Race
The Kaikoura Adventure race is a joint fundraiser for Kaikoura High School and adventure race groups happening on the 26th-27th October 2019.
A traditional team adventure race with 3, 6 & 12 hour course lengths on offer.
Teams race together to overcome challenges using multiple disciplines including trekking, mountain biking, kayaking and navigating.

Borlase Trial Ride
The Borlase Trial Ride is on at the Borlase Forest on Sunday the 18th of August.
There'll be hot and cold food and drinks available on the day.
There's a Family fun loop and A grade sections.
It's $50 per rider and a maximum of $100 per family from the same address.
All funds go towards the Richmond Scouts to get to Jamboree.
Address: Old School Road, off SH6 just south of the Kohatu Bridge, Tapawera.
Timing: Sing in is 8:30am to 9:30am and the track closes at 3pm.
