On the day the new X Factor NZ judges have been announced, former judges Natalia Kills and Willy Moon has finally given an apology to the X Factor NZ contestant they bullied, Joe Irvine.
Posting on their social media accounts almost an hour after the names of the new judges were released, Natalia Kills said she was relieved to "break the silence".
"Joe, I hope you can forgive me and I wish you all the very best!" she writes.
"Be natural, unconventional and be you!"
Willy Moon also released a statement saying "it went too far".
"I wish all the contestants, crew, and particularly Joe, all the best."
