Bindi Irwin crowned Dancing with the Stars US champion

Australia's Bindi Irwin has been crowned champion at the grand final for the latest US series of Dancing with the Stars.
The 17-year-old stole hearts as the happy daughter of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, and had become a fan favourite for the 21st season as she earned top scores on the dance floor.
She had also become open about her struggles to live on without her father Steve, who had been tragically killed by a stingray when she was nine years old.
Bindi cried after her last dance while reflecting on her experience on Dancing with the Stars, saying "this entire experience has changed my life".
Bindi and her mum Terri Irwin both tweeted dedications to the Crocodile Hunter at the end of the night -- with Terri writing, "your daddy was walking beside you all the way tonight."
