Dad has the best response to his kid who asked for more money

When his 6 year old asked for a raise on pocket money in order to buy a toy that they really wanted, this Dad had the best response.

He wrote a well thought out letter informing his child that upping the amount of pocket money received is a request that had no choice but to be denied.

Here's the letter if you don't want to squint at the text.

“We regret to inform you at this time that we are unable to provide the loan in the amount requested of $20. After reviewing your account, we find that you have insufficient funds, and a history of not doing your chores.

Furthermore, over $80 has been spent in discretionary entertainment expenditures since Christmas. This is an unsustainable amount of expenditure, and we cannot further compound the problem by financially assisting with [accruing] further debt at this point.

Thank you for choosing DAD Savings and Loans, we appreciate the chance to serve your financial needs.
