Adele has a secret Twitter account where she can "mouth off" as much as she likes.
Currently on tour in Australia, the singer told the crowd that she'd been banned from tweeting from her own official account because of her penchant for tweeting while drunk.
"I'm not allowed access to my own Twitter because I'm quite mouthy and I say the wrong thing a lot of the time," she told the Brisbane audience.
"So they took that privilege away from me."
"I was looking on Twitter last night. They don't know I have a secret account. Well, obviously they do now because I said that. By 'they' I mean my management."
Adele has previously spoken about her drunk tweets.
"I mean I'm not a drinker any more, but when Twitter first came out I was, like, drunk tweeting, and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times," she told the BBC in 2016.
Adele is known for her preference for swear words and dirty jokes. When the power cut at a concert in Adelaide on Monday, she told a self-described "filthy" joke about blondes.
She also stopped a live-to-air performance at the Grammys in February, saying, '"I'm sorry I ****ed up, and I'm sorry for swearing but I've got to stop. I can't do it again like last year."
In a June 2016 concert, she complained to fans about critics.
"Some d***head tried to say that my voice was not me on record. Dude, suck my ****," she said.
