Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson gives powerful haka in new film

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's powerful haka with a girls' soccer team in The Fate of the Furious can now be watched in full.

Paramount Pictures supplied the clip to Newshub to mark the film's recent release.

The scene sees Johnson's character in the blockbuster movie franchise, Luke Hobbs, lead his daughter's football team in a haka with scores tied and two minutes to go in their championship game.

Johnson first wrote about the haka in August last year, saying it was influenced by his Polynesian heritage.

"It's 100 percent he most REAL and AUTHENTIC scene in the movie. No acting. Just from our hearts and WARRIOR MANA (warrior spirit)," he posted to Instagram.
