Best friends Stace & Yanita decided to turn their fundraised givealittle money to charity after Stace sadly lost a family member during The Block NZ.
The pair received more than $3000 in donations when they became runners up on the reality TV show, following an eventful final auction that saw first place given to Andy & Nate at last minute.
But despite the generosity of the NZ public, they decided to donate their givealittle funds to Lifeline Aotearoa.
It's a cause that has become close to their hearts following events that occurred away from the cameras.
Talking to Woman's Day, the orange team revealed that Stace lost a family member to suicide while taping the Three reality show.
The pair kept Stace's family loss quiet during production, with Stace keeping private over the event and producers left unaware of what happened.

“Suicide touches so many people and it doesn’t need to,” said Stace to Woman's Day. “If this money makes even the tiniest bit of difference, then it’s worth it.”
Yanita also told the magazine that they were happy and proud with what they accomplished during their "rollercoaster" journey on the Three show.
“We’ve got $20,000, what do we have to be complain about?”
