Kristen Bell shares the experience she had breastfeeding her husband Dax Shepard

The things you do for the people you love!

Kristen Bell, best known for her roles on ‘Veronica Mars’ and ‘Frozen’, is also a mother of two daughter Delta and Lincoln. And she loves to talk about “mum-ing”.

In her new ‘The Ellen Show’ webseries, Momsplaining, the actress talks about the parenting highs and lows of breastfeeding with Scandal actress Katie Lowes.

And she revealed while she was breastfeeding her two kids, she had multiple struggles with mastitis – a build-up of milk in the breast duct that, if left untreated, could turn into an infection.

"I was in Atlanta," Kristen explains. "We couldn't call a doctor, and this was right after the baby stopped nursing."

"So what do you do... Kristen?” Katie asks, before a sudden realisation washes over her. “Oh. My. God."

"I said to my husband [actor Dax Shepard], 'I really need you to suck this out,” says Kristen.

“We could talk about it, we could be weird about it, or you could just go ahead and nurse. He pulled it out. He had a cup next to him. He was pulling out and spitting into this cup, and I've never been more in love. In my life."

While it may sound very weird and gross, it proves just how dedicated Kristen’s husband Dax is.

What a hubby!
