'Home Alone' is a film many 90s kids grew up watching. However, actor Macaulay Culkin isn't one of those people.
In a rare interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he tells the TV host that he hasn't watched it. And he hates it when people ask that he do "the face".
“I’ve been there, done that already. I’m 37, Okay? Okay, Mum?” he joked.
The actor calls his childhood career a "curse and blessing", saying that while he took a break from acting at 14, he still gets recognised all the time, and will specifically avoid being out and about at Christmas.
“It’s my season,” he said. “It’s Macaulay season. I try to go out less and less around that time of year.”
He does however credit his childhood career for allowing him to live comfortably and pursue other interests today.
“I felt like some kid worked really, really hard and I inherited all of his money,” he explained. “It allows me to treat everything like a hobby.”
