The most successful marriage on 'Married at First Sight Australia' has sadly come to an end.
Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner, who were matched in the first season of the TV series back in 2015, appeared to have defied all the other couples on the show and looked like they were going to go the distance.
But after a year and a half since the birth of their first child together, the two announced via social media that they have split.
"It is with sadness that Alex and I would like to state that we will be separating for now," Zoe's statement began.
"We are determined to ensure our beautiful daughter Harper-Rose continues to receive the unconditional love and nurturing she deserves from the both of us."
"Thank you to our followers and friends who have supported us through the highs and lows over the years."
The only successful couple to remain (other than partner-swapped couples Troy & Carly, and Tracey & Sean from this year's season) are Erin and Bryce from season two.
New Zealand's own Brett & Angel are also still going strong as the only couple successful from our local show.
