This year's season of Married at First Sight Australia was loaded with drama, from Tracey and Dean's constant bickering to Carly and Troy's shocking post show partner swap.
Despite not being paired with each other during the show, once the show finished Carly and Troy decided to give a relationship together a go.
But sadly for the couple, after 9 months together they've called it quits.
"It's with a heavy heart that I tell you that Troy and I have decided to part ways." Carly wrote on her Instagram
"9 months ago, we threw ourselves head first into a relationship, that despite all odds, felt like it was destined to be. We fell in love and experienced some of the most real and amazing moments together that I will never forget."
"We wanted this more than anything and have fought for each other to the end so it’s heartbreaking that we've had to make the incredibly difficult decision that our lives no longer align and we are unable to make this work."
"Troy, my darling, you are something special. You're my best friend and I will always be here for you. It's the end of this chapter but it's not goodbye."
Married at First Sight NZ Season 2 will be screening on Three later on this year.
