Update (9.40am): Pink's promoter Live Nation have announced that doctors have advised Pink to postpone her Tuesday 7th August show in Sydney. It is the third of nine Sydney shows that have needed to be rescheduled.

Pink has been struggling with illness recently, forcing her to postpone a few of her Australian shows. The star called off her Sydney show last Friday and and has since called off the show scheduled for Monday.

"On medical advice P!nk’s performance scheduled for this evening (August 6) at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed," Live Nation wrote on their Facebook page.

Later on they gave an update on Pink's health, revealing she'd be taken to hospital.

"Pink was admitted to hospital in Sydney on Sunday night, suffering from dehydration. She was treated and discharged."

"She was readmitted to hospital today and diagnosed with a gastric virus. Pink will remain in hospital overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery."

Fans of the singer have shown their support online...

"Pretty bad my 12 year old daughter is acting more mature then people on here. We were going for her 13th birthday. Get well soon pink and cant wait to find out when we will get to go," one person wrote.

Another person stood up to those complaining about the cancellations. "To all those that are complaining get over it seriously! She’s doing that many shows plus parenting two kids!"
