'Friends' star Matthew Perry has taken to Twitter to reveal to his 1.2 million followers that he has just completed a 3 month stint in hospital following surgery.
It's understood Perry's time in hospital was due to having been experiencing severe abdominal pain due to a ruptured bowel.
News of the 49-year-old's recent health concern broke last month when a rep for the actor told People that he "recently underwent surgery in a Los Angeles hospital to repair a gastrointestinal perforation. He is grateful for the concern and asks for continued privacy as he heals."
There are a number of different causes including appendicitis, diverticulitis, gallstones, or Crohn's disease.
