Kiwi ice-cream company Tip-Top have been named the international ice-cream maker of the year in the recent International Ice Cream Consortium Awards.
Tip Top Director, Kim Ballinger, said "It’s a huge achievement to be recognised as the best in the world and it really puts New Zealand on the map when it comes to quality ice cream."
The company also won silver for their recent Whittaker’s Coffee and Chocolate flavoured stick release.
A representative from the awards congratulated Tip Top and said the company "challenged the ice cream market boundaries showing an authentic cooperative spirit."
