Bradley Cooper has 'retired' his 'A Star Is Born' voice

'A Star Is Born' actor and director, Bradley Cooper has officially retired his signature husky voice that he used when playing Jackson Maine.

Bradley revealed the news on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, but did stress that he will still be performing at the 2019 Oscars with Lady Gaga. It will just mean that instead of getting into character and singing like Jackson Maine, Bradley will be himself.

He’s gone, I’m not going to try and get him back. But I will be me singing,

A Star is Born has been nominated for a whopping eight Oscars. That’s Best Picture, Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Original Song.

The Academy Awards are on Monday the 25th (NZ Time).
