No one could fault the attitude of latest Dancing with the Stars NZ eliminated contestant Walter Neilands.
The former Sticky TV host attempted to wow the judges with a magic trick that had his dance partner Melissa split in two - but the tricks and flips were not enough to save him from the bottom two dance-off against K'Lee.
While not visibly shocked by the elimination, Walter was full of praise, gratitude and thanks for everyone who had voted for him, supported him, and helped him in his Dancing with the Stars NZ journey.
"I just want to say thank you to 'You' - to everyone that got behind Team Walter... I really hope that you have been inspired by seeing what happens if you keep on trying - I know we're going out of the comp tonight, but we had so much fun," he told the audience.

His fellow castmates were visibly sad to see the most positive competitor exit, with rugby league player Manu Vatuvei seen noticeably tearing up.
Walter also gave thanks to the judges, who were taken aback by what he had to say to them.
"And thank you judges. Hey, I don't want to leave you guys out. Thank you so much for your feedback, I know I've been a slow learner here."
Fans couldn't help but share how graceful a competitor he was as he left.
Walter's elimination sees seven celebrities still battling it out for the glitterball trophy - Nadia Lim, K'Lee, Manu Vatuvei, Randell, Glen Osborne, Laura Daniel and William Waiirua.
The next episode of DWTS NZ will air on Sunday at 7pm on Three with a 'Elton John' special. The full episode can be watched again on ThreeNow.
