Adele is a self-confessed Spice Girls superfan.
When the iconic girl group announced their tour last year, Adele promptly posted a photo of her as a kid surrounded by Spice Girls merch.
It's been 21 years since Adele saw the Spice Girls live in concert, and she was ecstatic to see them again over the weekend.
Full of excitement, Adele shared the whole glorious journey of her going to watch her idols on Instagram.
The trip began with a session of carpool karaoke, with Adele belting out a supercharged rendition of "Stop" complete with a cackle at the end of the clip that truly conveys how giddy with excitement she was.
She then amped up her nostalgic trip to Wembley by jumping around at the venue with her mates and yelling some emphatic "la la las" from "Spice Up Your Life" like it was 1997.
It was a rollercoaster of emotions for the "Hello" singer, who credits her incredibly successful career to the influence of the Spice Girls -- with Adele tearfully turning to her friend's camera during "Mama" at the concert.
"We're all mums now!" she exclaimed, watching the pop singers on stage with their mothers and children during the slower ballad.
"Tonight with my nearest and dearest I cried, laughed, screamed, danced, reminisced and fell back in love with my 10 year old self," Adele captioned her Instagram post.
"It’s no secret how much I love them, how much they inspired me to run for my life and never look back.
"I finally got to meet Ginger, I got drunk with the girls and quite frankly I can’t believe how far I’ve come 😂 thank you for the madness I get to live, I couldn’t have got here without you 5 BRITISH legends! I love you!"
