Everything you need to know if you are heading to Fleetwood Mac in Dunedin

After completing four epic shows in Auckland's Spark Arena, finally it's time to see Fleetwood Mac under the roof of Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

It will be the first time the new Fleetwood Mac line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie along with newcomers Mike Campbell and our very own Neil Finn will perform in Dunedin and we are so, so excited to see them!

We've complied a handy need-to-know guide to help you prepare for Fleetwood Mac's epic show.

Getting to Forsyth Barr Stadium:

Forsyth Barr Stadium is located at 130 Anzac Ave.

The Stadium encourages the use of public transport for getting there, or arrive by foot as it will get very busy before and after the show.

The Stadium is an easy 20-minute stroll from The Octagon, and there will be free shuttles running from the Octagon central carriageway every 5 minutes from 6pm – 7pm. This free shuttle service will return to the Octagon from Harbour Terrace immediately after the concert.


There are regular bus services from the city centre to the Albany/Forth Street area. To check timetables go to www.orc.govt.nz.


A train will leave the Mosgiel Railway Station at 4.30pm, travel through Mosgiel and Wingatui to Dunedin. The return train leaves Dunedin again at midnight.

Arriving by car:

Forsyth Barr Stadium have stressed that there is very limited parking available in the immediate area and parking restrictions around the area will be in place from 3pm.

Doors Open - 6:30pm
Show Start - 8:00pm
Show End - 10:45pm

*There is no opening act for this show so please be here in plenty of time. Timings are approximate and subject to change. Please use these as a guide only.


There will be a merchandise stand outside the Stadium near Gate A, which will be open from 5pm on Saturday.

Once inside the Stadium, you will be able to buy merchandise in the Speight's Stand and near Gate C and Gate E.


There will be bag searches on entry into the venue. Bags larger than the size of a piece of A4 paper (21cm × 29cm) are not permitted.

The only food and drink allowed in the venue is:

  • Bottles of water, up to 1 litre, with seals unbroken - all lids will be removed from water bottles at the entrance Gates.
  • Homemade food - such as sandwiches, cakes, fruit.
  • Special foods for dietary requirements.
