We're still getting over the auction night from this years season of The Block NZ when only one of four teams managed to make any profit on their apartments, but it seems that The Block NZ 2020 is already gearing up for new teams to move in.
According to news website Stuff, The houses, at 104 and 106 Huia Road in Point Chevalier, Auckland, have been bought by Warner Bros International Television Production New Zealand Limited (the producers of The Block NZ) and demolition has already begun on the site.
If The Block NZ 2020 is indeed based in Auckland's Point Chevalier, it will be the second season that has completed builds there.
After this years auction night, The Block NZ received a lot of backlash online.
Lisa & Ribz from Apartment 2 were the only team to make money - selling their apartment for $1,340,000 and taking home a profit of $50,000.
The boys from Team Orange followed them up. The boys managed to sell their house for their reserve price of $1,390,000 but unfortunately made a $0 profit.
Both Stacy & Adam from Apartment 1 and Sophia & Mikare from the Penthouse couldn't make their reserve on auction night meaning their apartments were passed in for further negotiations.
