It's hard to believe, but after more than 12 years we are finally getting a sequel to the hit romantic movie 'P.S I Love You'.
The original movie which stared Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, told the story of a woman whose husband sadly passed away. Before his death, the husband (Gerry) arranged a series of letters to be delivered to his wife (Holly) - each signed 'P.S I Love You.' The notes asked Holly to do a series of things, in hopes of helping her move on fom his untimely death
The sequel is set to be based on the sequel novel which came out last year, titled 'Postscript' - written by Cecelia Ahern.
If the synopsis of the sequel novel is anything to go by, here's what we can expect...
"It's been seven years since Holly Kennedy's husband died – six since she read his final letter, urging Holly to find the courage to forge a new life."
"But when a group inspired by Gerry's letters, calling themselves the PS, I Love You Club, approaches Holly asking for help, she finds herself drawn back into a world that she worked so hard to leave behind."
"Holly will embark on a remarkable journey – one that will challenge her to ask whether embracing the future means betraying the past, and what it means to love someone forever."
So far it is rumoured that Hilary Swank will reprise her role as Holly, but no further casting announcements or release dates have been made.
