Earlier on this year it was announced that Jessica Marais, the original Rachel Rafter, would not be returning to the reboot of the Aussie TV show Back to the Rafters.
Now Amazon (the company behind the reboot) have announced who will be taking on the role of Rachel when the series debuts later this year.
Australian actress Georgina Haig will be taking on the role alongside many of the original stars. Georgina has starred in shows such as Secret Bridesmaids Business, Reckless and Road Kill.
Earlier on this year it was revealed that Jessica stepped away from the project due to 'personal reasons'.
"She thanks everyone involved on the show for their ongoing support and love, especially her ‘Rafter’s family’, and sends them her very best wishes for the production." a statement at the time said.
The new season of Rafters picks up six years since the events of the original show.
Dave and Julie Rafter have moved to the country with their youngest daughter Ruby, while their older children face new challenges.
The series will debut on streaming service Amazon Prime.
