Kiwi director Taika Waititi is set to head to a galaxy far, far away!
In what might be one of his biggest challenges to date, the talented Kiwi is set to direct his own Star Wars feature film. As well as that, he will also co-write the story with Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who previously worked on the hit film 1917.
Taika's previous film credits include Jojo Rabit, Hunt for The Wilderpeople and Thor: Ragnarok to name a few.
Its not the first time Taika has worked on a Star Wars project, he previously directed an episode of the Disney+ TV show 'The Mandalorian'.
There is currently no release date or other plot details, but given Taika's past work we're sure it'll be amazing!
