Last year there was drama surrounding the 3 long serving judges on MasterChef Australia. Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston and George Calombaris all quit the show after 11 years over an alleged pay dispute with TV network Channel 10.
Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen were eventually named as their replacements - and now the show is currently available on TVNZ OnDemand.
In a recent interview, former judge Gary Mehigan has said that he hasn't watched the new series...
"I got asked recently have I watched any of the new series and I genuinely haven’t," he told the Herald Sun.
"I’ve seen little chunks of it. I don’t know Melissa (Leong) but I know Andy (Allen) and Jock (Zonfrillo) really well. Jock rang me well before when I think he started talking to MasterChef."
"I said you know what, it’s been the most incredible experience of my life so far, a fabulous introduction to television."
He went on to give a little more insight into the dispute between his fellow former judges. "We were running into our 12th year and we were really begging *Channel 10* for change," he said.
Many fans have missed the old judges, but the new crew seem to have settled in well.
