Lewis Capaldi has revealed that he won't be releasing any new music this year, even though he's written 50 new songs while in quarintine.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the Scottish singer and song-writer shared his hopes of releasing a new album in 2021, but joked that people "don't need another song" from him this year.

Hopefully I will release a new song and a new album next year. I won't release another album this year or anything. I think people have suffered enough in 2020.

When the new album does eventually arrive, Lewis has revealed that there will be no collaborations saying: "I am a selfish man and I do not want to split the cash with anyone!"

He believes three or four out of the 50 songs that he's written are good, "which is a good ratio", he added.

We think a new album would've improved 2020 to be honest - but if his upcoming album is anything like his last, we're happy to wait for it!
