Pink is standing up for what's right.

Pink is known for standing up for what's right, and her latest move proves exactly that.

After news headlines reported that the Norweigan Women's Handball Team was being slapped with a fine for wearing shorts instead of the mandated bikini bottoms, Pink put her hand up to pay them on their behalf.

According to the International Handball Federation's rules, "female athletes must wear bikini bottoms… with a close fit and cut on an upward angle toward the top of the leg. The side width must be of a maximum of 10 centimeters."

The women in the Norweigan Handball Team decided to protest those rules by opting to wear shorts instead. They were ordered to pay 150 Euros per teammate, for a total of 1,500 Euros (which comes out to approximately $2,600).

Following the news, Pink took to Twitter to have her say and reveal that she will happily pay their fines.

"I’m VERY proud of the Norwegian female beach handball team FOR PROTESTING THE VERY SEXIST RULES ABOUT THEIR “uniform”. The European handball federation SHOULD BE FINED FOR SEXISM. Good on ya, ladies. I’ll be happy to pay your fines for you. Keep it up."

Since support rang out around the world for the team, the International Handball Federation is looking into it's rules and regulations around its athlete's uniforms.
