It's a collaboration we'd never predict!

Singer Ed Sheeran opened up The Brit Awards 2022 with a crazy pop-metal fusion of his hit song 'Bad Habits' alongside rockers Bring Me The Horizon.

Oli Sykes, frontman of Bring Me The Horizon, brought his own take to Ed Sheeran's single, hitting some trademark growls amongst a chaos of dancers, aerial acrobatics and balls of fire.

Fans online were happily stunned by the performance, calling it "impressive" and "a mix I didn't know I needed".

“Ed Sheeran and Oliver Sykes opening The Brits singing Bad Habits is not how I saw tonight going but here we are and it’s lit,” said one user on Twitter.

While he didn't win the big awards for Song of the Year and Artist of the Year (which were claimed by Adele), Ed Sheeran did claim 'Songwriter of the Year' for his work with '=' and countless other songs.

Ed Sheeran also performed another song, 'The Joker and the Queen' which he announced will be released as a new single with friend and fellow singer Taylor Swift this Friday.
