The 90's & 2000s icon herself has announced on her Instagram that she and fiancé Sam Asghari are expecting their first child!
She wrote a very lengthy caption on her post, where she also refers to Sam as her husband...
"I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ … I thought 'Geez … what happened to my stomach ???' My husband said 'No you're food pregnant silly 🤪 !!!' So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby 👶🏼 …" her caption began.
"4 days later I got a little more food pregnant 🤰🏼🙈🙈🙈 It's growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just loose it 😬😬😬😬😬😬 …" she continued.
Spears and Asghari, 28, got engaged in September last year after over four years of dating, just before Britney's conservatorship was finally brought to an end in November.
In the past, the pair have been reported 'very excited to start a family with a source telling US Weekly last July, "Sam would love to start a family with Britney."
The source continued: "Sam also sees marriage in his and Britney's future when the time is right and they are able to wed without the restraints of her conservatorship."
The star is doing her best to avoid the paparazzi for the time being and referenced her history of experiencing perinatal depression during her previous pregnancies.
She shares her two children, 16-year-old Sean Preston Federline and 15-year-old Jayden James Federline, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
