New Zealand is front and centre of Prince Harry’s campaign for sustainable travel.
Harry appears in the video alongside Kiwi actors Rhys Darby, Rena Owen, and Dave Fane and even though it was shot in California, NZ was the real star. The video is designed to showcase Harry’s not-for-profit organisation, Travalyst, aiming to bring sustainable travel “into the mainstream”.

Since the non-for profit’s start in 2019, Travalyst has brought together Booking.com, Expedia, Google, Skyscanner, and Tripadvisor, among others with the goal to establish an industry-wide sustainability grading system that would provide travellers with consistent, easy-to-understand information when planning their vacations.
They have so far established frameworks for the lodging and aviation industries.
