New Zealand's loved red-head, Ed Sheeran, has picked up his acoustic guitar and shared a new cover of a song that is close to his heart.
Contributing to the Elton John 'Revamp' album, the British singer performs the 1997 iconic track, 'Candle in the Wind', a slightly more upbeat and faster paced version than the piano-driven original.
"Elton has had many different impacts on my life in all the different stages of my life so far," Ed Sheeran describes the iconic artist.
"From youth it’s been getting me interested in music by listening to the songs, and teenage years getting me into songwriting by being influenced by the songs, and in adult life it’s sort of helping me charter this weird little music industry game - helping me out basically. So it’s been quite a journey."
Other artists have performed as part of Elton John's 'Revamp' album collection, including Pink, Lady Gaga, and Coldplay.
