What inspired your song 'Take It Slow'?
I was feeling out of my depth and out of place in music - I felt I looked wrong, sounded wrong, dressed wrong. 'Take It Slow' is a reminder to myself to trust myself, be me and be unapologetic.
What's your proudest musical moment?
As cheesy as it sounds, my proudest moment(s) are midnight of the day my song drops. It's a wee ritual for me to stay up & see it out in the big world. (But also playing big summer festivals & being on stage).
What's a Kiwi song you're loving at the moment?
I've been loving ‘Magnolia' by Thomston - and what a video!
