"Riddle of the Day: Samuel was born first, but his twin brother Ronan is older. How is that possible?"
That's what Cape Cod Healthcare posted on their Facebook page last week as they celebrated the birth of twin boys in their Massachusetts maternity hospital.
On early Sunday morning, Emily and Seth Peterson welcomed their newborn twin sons, Samuel and Ronan. However, while Samuel was born first, Ronan is older according to their birth certificates.
How is this possible?
"Answer: Samuel was born at 1:39 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 and by the time Ronan was born 31 minutes later, #DaylightSavingsTime had ended for the year and the time fell back by an hour, making Ronan’s official time of birth 1:10 a.m," says the hospital.
"I said earlier that night that they were either going to be born on two different days or the time change was going to come into play," said dad Seth.
Good luck to the twins when they start arguing who is the older one!
