Photos reveal scale of damage from Port Hills fire

The Port Hill fires, which had started on February 13, ripped through approximately 2075 hectares. Around 450 houses in the area were evacuated, nine homes destroyed and two partially damaged.The images show burnt remains of trees, and how close many homes got to the fire.Aerial operations are still in play as drones continue to use thermal imaging to locate hotspots that may still pose a risk of flare-up.
