Jay-Jay's mum Robynne has been through a lot lately. Her daughter was suffering with Covid, and her son was involved in a scary random shooting in Auckland's CBD and was admitted to hospital.
Thankfully, Jay-Jay's brother Poull is doing much better following the surgery he got to remove the gun pellets from his body.
But Jay-Jay had to ask her mum Robynne - was it really appropriate to gift licorice bullet lollies to someone recovering from gun injuries?
Turns out Robynne had no idea how inappropriate the gift she gave her injured son was - until we rang her live on air.
