A new study has suggested that eating Marmite on the daily is linked to a positive impact on brain activity, potentially making you smarter!
The study consisted of 2 groups of people and got them to eat a spoonful of either Marmite or peanut butter each day for 8 weeks.
The results showed an increase in brain activity and function for the group who ate Marmite each day and when the study stopped after 8 weeks, their function returned to normal.
"As the effects of Marmite consumption took around eight weeks to wear off after participants stopped the study, this suggests that dietary changes could potentially have long-term effects on brain function." the study claimed.
