Families can often be complicated things, especially when children are involved!
A recent study from the States has shown that women tend to believe they got on better with their siblings when they were younger than men did.
The study involved over 200 adults from various walks of life and asked them how they felt about their siblings when they were kids.
The participants were asked to rate their relationship with their siblings on a scale of 1 - 10 from close (1) to rivalrous (10). On average, more men admitted to having feelings of rivalry with their siblings when they were younger than woman did. The gender combination of siblings didn’t show any difference in this result either.
Thankfully, the study also showed that those feelings of rivalry more often than not had faded as they grew up into adults.
