As a parent, you want to be sure that when you leave your kids with someone, they're trustworthy and will keep them safe.
But a dad was furious to find his babysitter sleeping on the job, so he decided he would teach her a cruel lesson.
The man, only known as Christopher on Facebook, had returned home to pick up some forgotten paperwork when he spotted the sleeping babysitter, Sarah, taking a nap on the sofa.
Angered by her laziness, he snapped a photo of her sleeping as evidence, then took his kids with him to make it look like they had been kidnapped.
In a series of text message screenshots, he shows how Sarah the babysitter frantically tried to call him when she wasn't able to find the kids again.
He refused to pick up the phone, claiming he had signal issues, and pressed her to tell him what was going on.
"I cannot call wtf is going on. Are my kids ok? Answer me now".
Sarah then explained how she'd called his wife's school, with one of her colleagues telling her that "the boys were ok" but were no where to be seen.
When the father then asked his babysitter "Where are my ******* kids Sarah", she responded: "If I knew I wouldn't be blowing up your phone!!"
Sarah had then contacted the police, who suggested to her to "call your employer they probably know what's going on."
Christopher revealed the truth, telling her: "I took my ******* kids at 10. Get out of my ******* house! I may be pressing charges on you for neglecting my ******* kids."
He added that she was "fired" and that he was on his way to the police station.
The text exchange has received a lot of attention online, with people split over whether the father had acted appropriated or overreacted when he should have just fired her when he first spotted her.
